Job description

The post holder will ensure that, by managing the selected freight forwarder in
his/her everyday activities, material is delivered to site by the timeliest and
most cost effective method to meet the site construction schedule.

*Experience of oil and gas or petrochemical industries desirable
*Experience of Project task force logistics coordination
*Able to use Word, Excel, E mail systems.
*Several years experience of logistics support role on an oil and gas or

Job description

The post holder will be responsible for designing earthwork, tank farms, finish
grade, paving, access and facility roads, surface drainage, catch basin, manhole
and sewer design, for petrochemical facilities. You will be familiar with
computer software such as Inroads, Excel and drainage software.

10) Project Procurement Manager - UK

Job description

Normally based in UK, but with opportunities to travel and work overseas,
serves either as a Project Procurement Manager (PPM) on a small Engineering
Procurement and Construction project (<$500m) reporting to a project manager,
or plans, organizes, directs and controls a portion of the procurement and
material management function on a larger project. Current projects are in the
Middle East, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Russia and UK.
Key responsibilities

Sourcing materials and equipment internationally
Evaluation and negotiation
Purchasing
Expediting of deliveries
Inspection of equipment and materials
Shipment to site by land, sea, and air
Equipment covers a wide spectrum: steel towers and drums up to 500 tonnes,

11) Senior Planner - UK

Job description

The Senior Planner operates in a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for
setting up a schedule and tracking and monitoring the schedule. This requires
excellent insight in various execution methods both in the home office and at
site combined with a high level of informal communication and formal
communication. The Senior Planner reports to the Project Controls Manager and
provides the Project Manager with essential input for the tracking of project
progress.

Key responsibilities

Providing a detailed planning during various project phases Frequent, monthly
progress control in percentage and time, providing advise on corrective actions
if required.
Regular risk assessments with recommendations for mitigations.

Minimum requirements:

Relevant technical degree (e.g. Civil/Mechanical Engineering)

purchased material and equipment from the time of purchase through to receipt at
construction site.

Key responsibilities

Assists in the formulation of plans and the execution of the overall material
management activity, and assists in the planning and execution of specialized

inspection, or field material management).
Directs the development of all material control, procurement, or field material
